8–12 weeks out: Book your venue, secure any performers or entertainment that requires advance booking, and send save-the-dates for bigger parties
4–6 weeks out: Send invitations, finalize your activity plan, order any custom items (cake, decor, favors)
2 weeks out: Confirm RSVPs, finalize headcount with vendors, finalize the day-of timeline
1 week out: Prepare all supplies, confirm all vendors, do a run-through of the day's flow in your head
Day of: Arrive early, set up with intention, and then — put your phone down . Be present. Your child will notice.
